Running a business can be overwhelming because there are so many moving parts — clients, your team, marketing, social media, blogging, your website…the list goes on!
If you don’t have good systems or support in place, you may feel like you’re constantly spinning your wheels and not gaining any traction. This is why it’s smart to have good tools in place that actually function well for your online business.
In this blog post I narrow down my favorite must-have tools to the top seven — all tried-and tested by me! But you can download the entire list of my top 20 tools as a bonus PDF.
Here are the tools I use to stay on top of #allofthethings and keep my business running smoothly and efficiently!
Now, let’s dive in!
1. Asana
Asana is a project management system that tracks projects, conversations, and workflows from start to finish. It helps my team stay on track and keeps our goals clear because we don’t have to search through email for task related conversations.
I love how organized it is and how easy it is to check off different tasks and projects as we complete them. It’s nice to know where we’re at in each phase.
2. Acuity Scheduling
Acuity Scheduling is the online appointment software I use to manage all of my consultation calls and client appointments. It saves me so much time because it’s as easy as sharing a link to avoid the back and forth in email!
It can even accept payments (and payment plans!) at the time of scheduling. Plus, I can create different calendars for different types of availability to serve my clients and students better.
3. ConvertKit
ConvertKit is the email marketing automation tool that I use to help grow my email list. I can keep track of conversion stats at-a-glance, once inside the dashboard.
This tool makes it easy to embed forms on my website and deliver content to my subscribers, and students — all the while keeping my list organized. ConvertKit syncs with other popular programs that I use so everything is organized and up-to-date.
4. G-Suite (Google Calendar, Gmail, & Google Drive)
G-Suite has it all– email, calendar, documents, spreadsheets, cloud storage, and more! It has really streamlined my business and helps my team and I stay organized.
I love that my team can all collaborate in real time with these apps! Plus, it syncs well with Asana and I can share my Google calendar with my team so everyone is on the same page.
5. Facebook (Business Manager, Facebook for groups, & Messenger)
There would be no Facebook ads without Facebook! And Facebook offers a wide variety of tools and apps to help manage my business better.
In fact, I manage my clients Facebook ad campaigns in Facebook Business Manager, communicate with my students in my Flourish students only Facebook group, have a Facebook Business page where I share my content (especially with Facebook Live every Wednesday at 1pm PST) and connect with my peers and colleagues using Facebook Messenger!
6. Zoom
Zoom is my go-to for video conferencing! You can meet people face-to-face and even share screens for better collaboration. It makes holding meetings with my team every week, and group coaching calls, a breeze!
I can schedule recurring meetings with HD quality video and record for my reference or share with my Flourish with Facebook Ads students. In addition, it integrates with Google calendar and Acuity too!
7. Ecamm Live
Ecamm Live for Facebook has really helped me stay consistent on my weekly Facebook Lives. This app allows you to do high quality live stream videos to your Facebook Page, Group, or Event.
It has picture-in-picture ability to show pre-recorded content or to share slide presentations. You can see audience size, Facebook comments, and reactions while you are streaming. I love that you can add text or graphic overlays to make sure viewers don’t miss anything important.
Note: Ecamm is only compatible with Macs.
